During periods of low light intensity, the photosynthetic activity of plants is reduced and they become sickly.

The installation of lighting systems with photosynthetic wavelengths allows the plants to grow and produce without interruption all year round.

High Intensity Discharge Bulbs (HID) 

This is the type of photosynthetic bulb that has been routinely used over the last decades in floriculture. They emit a wavelength ideal for maximum photosynthesis and are available in 400W, 600W and 1000W.

LED Bulbs 

This is the future in photosynthetic lighting. Their main advantage over high intensity discharge bulbs is their drastically reduced energy consumption. They are already being widely used in tissue culture labs with spectacular results.

At our facilities LED lighting tests are being carried out on rose crops and the first results are encouraging to say the least.
